Connecting your WhatsApp Business number
Set up Meta Cloud API integration for WhatsApp messaging from within Realatic CRM.
Overview
Realatic CRM integrates with WhatsApp via Meta Cloud API for 2-way messaging using your business number.
Prerequisites
- A WhatsApp Business Account on Meta Business Suite
- A dedicated phone number for WhatsApp Business
- Access to Meta Developer Console
Setup
1. Create a Meta App
Go to developers.facebook.com, create a Business-type app, add the WhatsApp product. Note your Phone Number ID and Business Account ID.
2. Generate Access Token
In Meta Developer Console under WhatsApp > API Setup, generate a permanent access token.
3. Connect in Realatic
Go to Settings > Integrations > WhatsApp, enter Phone Number ID, Business Account ID, and Access Token. Click Connect.
4. Configure Webhook
Copy the webhook URL from settings, set it as the Callback URL in Meta Developer Console, and subscribe to the messages webhook field.
Testing
Send a WhatsApp message from your personal phone to your business number. It should appear in the CRM within seconds.
WhatsApp Business API has a 24-hour messaging window. For messages outside this window, use approved template messages.
